What is the best potting material to use for candelilla? I need to transplant several sections of a huge plant. I'd like to put them in pots while I decide where they will go.
I am assuming you bought these plants bare root? If you did, one quick way to get them in pots without a great deal of trouble is to get a good Cactus & Succulent Potting Soil from any nursery that sells succulents, Home Depot also has a good mix called Black Magic Cactus & Succulent Potting Soil. This should be good for a temporary waiting period. Euphorbia antisyphilitica (candelilla) is a very hardy plant and can take some extreme misuse without a lot of damage to the plant.
